Module 3: Due Diligence – How action leads to change
Learn how to progress from action plans and integration to lasting change with your due diligence program
This is Module 3 (out of 3) on due diligence, “Responsible Business Conduct” – held in Copenhagen and conducted in English.
You can take any module individually, or all three depending on what fits your needs. Participants who complete all three modules will receive a *diploma.
How can you ensure that your work on responsible business conduct does not stop once you have started your internal integration? This module provides insight into the final three steps of the OECD due diligence process: 4. continuous improvement and effectiveness, 5. credible communication, and 6. setting up grievance mechanisms and remediation.
We will also explore how meaningful stakeholder engagement is essential to all three steps – for example, by involving employees, suppliers, and civil society to validate efforts and provide feedback on effectiveness.
By the end of this module, you will be able to:
• Monitor and assess the impact of your due diligence efforts
• Communicate actions credibly managing the risk of greenwashing
• Develop and implement an effective grievance and remediation system
• Engage relevant stakeholders to enhance follow-up, communication, and grievance handling
