Lost in the legislation jungle?
EUDR, EUFLR, CSRD, CSDDD. The acronyms keep coming, and each one seems to demand its own process.
Underneath them all sits the same requirement – you need to know your value chain and be able to show what you have done about the risks in it. Behind those risks are people and the environment in the value chains we all depend on. Due diligence is how you turn that responsibility into action.
In this webinar, we look at due diligence as the common foundation across the regulations rather than as a separate task for each. But a foundation only matters once it is built into how you actually run the business. So how do you move due diligence from policy documents into purchasing, sourcing and supplier dialogue – and build one process that serves several requirements at once? And how do you get started without waiting for the final implementation details?
We will work from The 6 Steps, Ethical Trade Denmark’s practical guide to due diligence for people and the environment, developed with support from the Danish Business Authority. It gives you a concrete, step-by-step way to move from principles to practice, and it was developed with our members and based on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and the OECD Guidelines for Responsible Business Conduct.
Bring your CEO. Due diligence is not only a task for the sustainability or purchasing team – the real decisions about priorities, budgets and supplier relationships are made at the top.
