Dialogue Meeting: Regenerative Agriculture
How can we help the producers in our value chains to create regenerative agriculture initiatives?
Ethical Trade Denmark invites you to join in for a dialogue meeting on regenerative agriculture in value chains. The concept of regenerative agriculture does not have a fixed size, but overall, regenerative agriculture deals with getting fertility back into the soil for the benefit of biodiversity, climate, and the environment.
Regenerative is not just sustainable. The concept goes further than sustainability. Sustainability is preserving the existing and avoiding further loss. Regenerative means actively rebuilding what has already been lost.
We will try to zoom in on this, by presenting concrete examples of how the implementation of regenerative agriculture in value chains can contribute to current climate and biodiversity challenges seen among companies or organizations today and learn more about how concrete initiatives are rolled out in practice. How does the ‘nature-positive agriculture’ method work compared to other methods? We will try to ask the question of how it is possible as a company to help producers create new regenerative measures in their agriculture, as well as what barriers come in the way of carrying it out in practice.
Program:
- Introduction and welcome from Ethical Trade Denmark.
