Due diligence in practice – member network meeting
We are inviting members to a meeting in our network “Due diligence in practice”
At this meeting, we will discuss what good due diligence looks like, when it comes to respecting the rights of Indigeneous Peoples. There are a range of examples of renewable energy projects that impact Indigenous Peoples’ collective rights to lands, territories and resources.
As IWGIA has visitors from their partner organization Friends of Lake Turkana, we want to seize the opportunity to hear their perspectives and experiences from the construction of the Lake Turkana Wind Power project in Kenya.
Participants: The meeting is open to all members of Ethical Trade Denmark, and will be held under Chatham House Rule: participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
